Ward and Lonergan Reach Texas Finals

Scott Ward, Houston, won the Geoffrey Parker Championship Division of the 2020 Texas Backgammon Championships at the Gunter Hotel, San Antonio, February 2-5. Scott defeated Bill Lonergan of New York in the final. For his win, Scott received the first-place prize pool award, a voucher toward a new Geoffrey Parker board, the traditional Texas personalized plaque trophy, and $5,000 in added money.
