Victor Ashkenazi, New York City, won the Malcolm Davis Longhorn Classic Masters Jackpot of the 2020 Texas Backgammon Championships at the Gunter Hotel, San Antonio, February 2-5 by defeating Boris Dekhtyar, also of New York City, in the final. In addition to the first-place prize pool award, Victor also won the two side pools, and received the coveted, prestigious Malcolm Davis bronze longhorn figurine trophy.
